Godzilla: Tokyo Clash
Designer: Prospero Hall
Publisher: Funko Games
Working on Godzilla: Tokyo Clash was a dream project dating back to my childhood, when I would joyously watch poorly dubbed Godzilla movies on my TV, on Sunday afternoons. Like those movies, we wanted this game to be loud, exciting and celebrate the thrill of giant kaiju pummeling each other and leaving devastation in their wake. As a Product Designer on this game, my contributions included:
Designing the initial box concept for game pitch.
Designing the color scheme, iconography and typography system.
Graphic design on the packaging creature boards, card decks and the event deck.
Working with and providing feedback to both the illustrators and the plastic component designers.
Laying out and concepting the gameboard tiles.
Graphic design and layout for instruction manual.
