Sometimes, a game starts with an existing license, and sometime it just starts with an idea for a killer package. The question: “What if we made a game that looks like a package of Top Ramen, and celebrated people’s affection for that staple of Collegiate dinner?” The answer: Ramen Fury. In the end, we delivered on both a great set-building card game, and some really fun and unique packaging, too.

As a Product Designer on this game, my contributions included:

  • Designing packaging, including working with printer to create a resealable envelope and ramen noodle insert box.

  • Graphic Design on the cards, tokens, instructions and point of purchase box.

  • Working with an illustrator to create the food illustrations, and developing the rough “block print” distressing for them.
