Sometimes, a game starts with an existing license, and sometime it just starts with an idea for a killer package. The question: “What if we made a game that looks like a package of Top Ramen, and celebrated people’s affection for that staple of Collegiate dinner?” The answer: Ramen Fury. In the end, we delivered on both a great set-building card game, and some really fun and unique packaging, too.
As a Product Designer on this game, my contributions included:
Designing packaging, including working with printer to create a resealable envelope and ramen noodle insert box.
Graphic Design on the cards, tokens, instructions and point of purchase box.
Working with an illustrator to create the food illustrations, and developing the rough “block print” distressing for them.
